Faculty and Staff

ASD’s faculty and staff represent a unique blend of backgrounds and expertise. Approximately half of our team comes from traditional education, holding NH teaching licenses and bringing deep pedagogical knowledge and classroom experience. The other half brings invaluable industry expertise—professionals who have worked in engineering firms, research labs, technology companies, and other STEM fields, offering students authentic insights into how science and technology work in the real world.

This combination creates a dynamic, collaborative learning environment where rigorous academic standards meet practical application. Our educators work together across disciplines, sharing knowledge and developing innovative approaches to teaching that prepare students not just for tests, but for the challenges they’ll face in college and careers.

With nearly 80% of our faculty holding advanced degrees and a student-teacher ratio of 10:1, ASD students benefit from small classes, individualized attention, and teachers who are passionate about both their subjects and their students’ success.
